About Us

Our aim is to keep on building environmentally-friendly agricultural production with care of people’s health who consume our products and to restore
the fertility of our soils – Ukraine’s famous black earth, called chornozems.

Arataniya Ltd was incorporated in 2012 and now is heading the group of companies which includes 7 farms and 3 traders with activity in the field of producing and exporting organic agricultural products from Ukraine.

All this time we were doing our best to provide every of our clients with outstanding quality and careful attention to their needs.

Our total cultivated area is about 15,950,ha of which 9,135,ha are concentrated in western Ukraine – Khmelnitsky region as well as 4,015,ha and 2,800,ha in southern Ukraine – Zaporizhia and Kherson regions. Furthermore, as of 2019, about 10,660,ha are in-conversion.

Depending on the climatic conditions of each region, we select the respective cultures and crop rotation to produce with maximum quality and yield.

Organic farming is the only and right solution to achieve these goals.
Since 2013 our group, with that thought in mind, produces and sells 100% organic goods.
Arataniya Ltd and all our contractual farms are certified in EU Organic according to E.C.
Regulations 834/2007 and 889/2008 by SIA “Sertifikācijas un testēšanas centrs” (UA-BIO-173).

Organic Quality

The farms in our group grow crops exclusively for us under our strict guidance and supervision all the way beginning from soil preparation and up to harvesting and storage. Therefore, we guarantee our customers the best organic quality of the products we supply.

We help our farms with organic certification, provide them with information and legal support, scientific accompaniment, develop methodology for cultivation of agricultural production and application of organic agents. Our agronomists regularly visit farms to check state of the crops, equipment and storages.

In our group we have implemented own organic control system of supply chain, which consists of internal audits, onsite visits, documentation checking, verification of the product flow and traceability, sampling and analysis for unallowed substances, control of transport means, transshipment and storage facilities

Confirmation of our goods’ organic status is running under strict supervision from the side of our Control Body SIA “Sertifikācijas un testēšanas centrs” based, besides, on taken samples which are analyzed in accredited European laboratories prior export approval.
